Chicks & Grand Island

This posting includes pictures from when we visited my Grandma, and as you can see it didn't take long for Aubrie to warm up to her Great Grandma. I also posted some pictures from this last weekend when Amy, Joel, and Aubrie went back to Fullerton. Joel's parents raise chickens, and there was a new batch of baby chicks, so Aubrie took advantage of an opportunity to pet one. And finally, the last few pictures were taken by Nate's cell phone when we were in Grand Island visiting my friends from college, Jack and Kelly. They have two sweet little boys, Jackson and Isaac. So cute!!! Another great weekend to end the month of April!

In the picture of her bad hair day, Aubrie looks like Drew Barrymore in that "Firestarter" movie from many years ago. Kind of. :)

Hmm, I guess she does. It's a good thing, though, that she doesn't have the same disturbing ability as Drew's character. Can you imagine what Aubrie would get away with then? :)
